Weekly Chinese brushpainting lessons for over 5 years while living in Singapore from 2007 -2012 with Master Mr. Lin Lu Zai gave Deborah basic techniques for Chinese Brush painting style.
The lessons were mostly in Mandarin so aspects need to be translated and she has learned to rely on other senses to ascertain what was necessary to grasp from each lesson.
